Chi is known to be one of the better shooters in the region. The 6-foot-2 wing has a quick and repeatable release that he’s able to get off while being off-balance or after coming off screens—even if his feet aren’t set, he’s able to get a good look off. But today, it was actually his ability to get out in transition and finish with contact that impressed me the most. He had multiple nice spin moves and because of his build, he fights through hand checks and does a really good job keeping his line. Chi should find a D3 fit when the time comes, and Buckley’s departure from Thayer should open up some shots for him this season.
