Expert Analysis
Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Howard, a wing out of Thayer Academy in Massachusetts, has the long-term potential to end up as one of the top prospects in this class. He made an impact for Canton as a freshman and continued to have success on the travel circuit with the Middlesex Magic this summer before announcing his transfer and reclassification at Thayer. The 6’6″ wing plays at different speeds, does a nice job of using his length as a finisher, and makes high level decisions with the ball in his hands. He rebounds it in traffic, protects the rim from the help side, and has the ability to make an impact in passing lanes with his length and instincts.
