This was my first opportunity to watch Burge and he stood out as a slashing lead guard who could apply rim pressure, set up his teammates and score at the rim. Burge did an excellent job of driving with his dominant right hand and scoring at the rim. It sounds simple but if you can keep getting by players with your dominant hand and scoring, keep doing that! Once the defense started showing more help on his drives, Burge had a couple kickout passes to set up shooters in the corner and on the wing. Talented guard out of northeast Ohio.

One of the top wings in Ohio's 2028 class, Rardin has the positional size to stretch the floor and attack closeouts while also scoring over smaller defenders in the paint. Rardin did a nice job on Saturday of taking long strides to the basket and using his length to avoid shot blockers at the rim. Rardin also knocked down a handful of 3-pointers, hitting shots off the catch and DHO actions. Expect to hear a lot about Rardin over the next few years.

I absolutely loved watching Yeary play on Saturday, playing the game the right way. Yeary moved without the basketball and made himself available, scoring numerous times just by being in the right place at the right time. It's a difficult skill to master and Yeary got open and his teammates did a nice job of hitting him in positions to score. Players should be watching Yeary play because lots of players could improve their off ball movement to get easy buckets and he did that better than anybody else at camp.

A bit of an under the radar name out of Cincinnati, Scott had some bright flashes on Saturday as an athlete, rebounder and interior scorer. With impressive physical tools, Scott can really move latterly and jump for a player his size. Getting to the rim off the dribble and crashing the glass, Scott was effective as an interior scorer all day. Scott can also play above the rim when he has a runway, almost throwing down a tip dunk and later having a breakaway dunk. Scott is starting to turn his potential into production and is at a Summit Country Day program that will challenge in him practice daily.

I got to see Edwards in the spring for his Midwest MHC 15 U team and he once again impressed on Saturday. Edwards has a solid frame for a rising sophomore and was physical on both ends of the court. Able to seal defenders in the paint, Edwards wasn't afraid of contact when going up at the rim. The wing guard also knocked down numerous spot-up 3-pointers, showing his ability to space the floor. One of the top prospects from southeast Ohio in the 2028 class, Edwards is a small town prospect to watch over the next three years.

Perkins was another player on this team who did his best work off the ball as a cutter. I was impressed by the strength Perkins played with in the paint, getting fouled on a couple layups and getting to the foul line. Maybe his best move of the day came in transition where Perkins used a fake pass to get an easy layup. After scoring 6 PPG as a freshman, Perkins has a chance to really blossom this winter for a Monroe program that is coming off a 16 win season.
