Instead, he showed off his ability to make shots from three while also effectively attacking closeouts and making decisions in the paint. Stanger, a wing out of Milton Academy in Massachusetts, is the #2 ranked shooting guard and checks in at #12 overall. Stanger tracks as one of the best perimeter shooters in the class, having shown a knack for making big time shots both at the prep level and on the travel circuit. Capable of playing with the ball in his hands, he’s got a quick first step, and, with a strong frame, shows he’s willing to play through contact in the half-court. Defensively, he provides energy on that end of the floor while also proving to be willing to mix it up on the glass in traffic. He’s one to keep an eye on this spring, where he’ll be running with BCRI.

Stanger, a point guard out of Milton Academy in Massachusetts, has the ability to impact games in a variety of ways on the offensive end of the floor. He’s a big guard that can really shoot the basketball, but also shows some wiggle off the bounce as a downhill driver. He uses his size and strength to finish around the rim, moves well without the basketball, and has the ability to make decisions playing out of ball screens. On the other end of the floor, he can guard any spot on the perimeter and does a nice job of making an impact on the glass.
