Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase – 8 Players to Watch, Part 1

Arguably the best event that we put on every year, over 100 of the state's best incoming freshmen will put their talent on display in front of our team of scouts. This is, for the most part, our first look at the Class of 2029. Alcock, at Seymour High School, projects to be one of the top freshmen in the area this coming season. Cochran is a high-level shooter with a quick, compact release who was impressive over the course of the summer with LVL Up 14u. Northview had a lot of success this summer, enters 2025-2026 as one of the favorites in Class 3A, and returns the vast majority of their production from last season's Semi-State team. He shoots the ball well from the perimeter and has the ball-handling ability to play as a true combo guard.
