Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
We’ve seen Pardue play very well this spring a couple of times with Mac Elite so he has absolutely been on our radar as a potential breakout rising sophomore at New Palestine. However, Tuesday against Terre Haute North might have been as good as we have seen the 6’2″ versatile guard/wing play. Pardue poured in a game-high 31 points in the contest while scoring it from all over the floor. He made catch-and-shoot three-point shots, drove it relentlessly to the basket, and finished at the rim. There is a lot to like about his well-rounded, two-way talent.

Pardue may still be flying under-the-radar a bit due to not getting any varsity run as a freshman, but we know he is a top prospect to follow in this class. He is a consistent top performer with a very talented Mac Elite 15u team and has positional size, strength, and athleticism beyond his years. The New Palestine guard shoots it well from beyond the arc when open, but really excels using his physical advantages against smaller defenders inside.

did not disappoint. He’s a smooth left handed guard with a good frame and a high IQ. Comfortable playing on or off the ball. Really good operating the pick and role not forcing the issue. Exceptional spot up shooter with a smooth release. Over the course of the part of two games I saw him he was able to knock down a handful of 3’s. Also showed his ability to play out of the post to exploit a mismatch. Good footwork along with the ability to finish with either hand.

He hoops with Mac Elite. Pardue is an elite-level shooter with great size (6’3″ 180 lbs) for a ’29. He certainly passes the eye test. Lincoln is a top-tier passer. Great things seem to happen when he has the rock.

Pardue is a 6’0″ guard from New Palestine High School that projects well with his strong, athletic build. He was a matchup problem for opposing defenses due to his combination of physicality and perimeter skill. That same level of versatility carried over to the defensive end of the floor where he was able to guard multiple positions in 5-on-5 play for Team 3 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.

A talented 6’0″ left-handed guard, Pardue is an up-and-comer to watch at New Palestine High School. The Dragons graduated a lot of production, but have some young talent coming up, including Pardue, to be excited about.
