Our scouts wanted to take the time to reflect back on some standout players outside of the top-50 to show some love to some of the top performers that might not always get the publicity that they deserve with their play. We'll cover top defenders, best playmakers, elite scorers, hottest shooters, and more! Today, let's start with some of the better shooters in the area. Let's dive in!

-Always come away impressed with how Razi hunts the right shot, passing up contested looks to relocate to space for an open jumper off of flares. Razi is a good mover off the ball but can also create space well with stepbacks or by walking into pull-up jumpers. The footwork on his movement shots allows him to get off clean looks before the defense can even realize that he's open. His ability to pass from above the break to free up open shots for teammates works in his favor to create spacing to get off clean looks of his own.

-Liked how the other parts of his game developed this season as a primary contributor for the JV team and in spot minutes for varsity. Williams understands how to find open gaps in the defense and has his footwork down pat coming off of screens for shots in the halfcourt. He shot above 45% from 3 in the HGSL season and shot 37% in his varsity opportunities this summer. With Sidwell's starting backcourt moving on to the college level, he should play a much bigger role as a floor spacing shooter that could unlock opportunities for his teammates.

-Saw Greenwood play a few times this summer and came away impressed with the confidence that he plays with shooting the basketball. He's not bothered by late contests, shoots the same shot every time, and doesn't have a short term memory when it comes to letting another one fly from beyond the arc. With good positional size and deep range on his jumper, I expect his recruitment to pick up as he will play a big role for Westminster again this season.

-Spence is earning more opportunities to see the floor because of his duality as a guard that can set up the offense or knock down shots as an off-ball mover. He has one of the smoothest/most efficient releases in the area and isn't afraid to let it fly even if he just checked into the game cold off the bench. Really like his confidence shooting the ball from each spot around the arc. He can hit the typical guard shots of the wings and top of the key but he has really emerged as a corner sniper that can make teams pay for turning their back on him while rotating in help defense.

-Unconscious shooter that is an extremely valuable floor-spacer for a Mustangs team that doesn't have a ton of shooting outside of him. Tuzon is comfortable hitting shots from beyond the arc off the bounce, attacks closeouts well with 1 or 2-dribble pull-ups, and is probably most aggressive in primary or secondary transition offense. His ability to not only hit shots but draw fouls makes him a key cog for his team late in close games as he drilled some huge FTs down the stretch of games this summer. Tuazon shot 52% from the floor and 61% from 3 in 9 summer league games this year.
