-Greenwood continues to impress as a leader for a Westminster team that is beginning to find their way. He hit a runner in the paint, knocked down a C+S 3 in transition, secured a tough catch in traffic to finish at the rim in transition through the foul contact, and face cut well from the wing before taking one dribble and hitting the baseline jumper. His ability to get into his jumper quickly off the bounce or in transition makes him a prospect to watch in the 2026 class. Local D2s have offered and continue to make a strong push for the sweet-shooting wing as he looks to close his senior season out strong.

-One of the best if not the best shooter in the state, Greenwood impressed our writers during the summer with both his AAU and HS team. Standing at least 6’6 with an absolute ratchet of a perimeter jumper, Greenwood spaces the floor well for his team but is also capable of some secondary play-making and competes defensively. With one of the hottest skills on the market and great positional size with a 4.3 GPA– I would expect a few schools to join Frostburg State in sending an offer his way.

-Thought Greenwood was the MVP of the showcase and also was probably the best shooter on the floor through each of the different game segments. Greenwood moves to space really well off the ball to create clean looks at the rim. He steps into shots confidently, can get off his shot over most defenders due to good positional size, and takes advantage of the shooting gravity to make cross-court passes to teammates for open looks knowing that the ball will find him on subsequent possessions. Liked that he was aggressive offensively but wasn’t forcing anything, didn’t try to dribble or pass through tight windows and executed on the simple read quickly. Think he’s got a real chance to earn a scholarship this season given the premium that is currently being placed on shooters at his size.

-Saw Greenwood play a few times this summer and came away impressed with the confidence that he plays with shooting the basketball. He’s not bothered by late contests, shoots the same shot every time, and doesn’t have a short term memory when it comes to letting another one fly from beyond the arc. With good positional size and deep range on his jumper, I expect his recruitment to pick up as he will play a big role for Westminster again this season.

-Greenwood has an absolute flame-thrower as a perimeter shooter that confidently steps into 3s despite the defensive pressure in front of him. The rising senior hit five 3s because of the consistent release on the jumper, how well he moves off the ball to relocate to space, and with excellent footwork that allows him to let it fly from the perimeter in a hurry. Although he isn’t scared to take contested looks- I liked that he had a plan with the basketball and made the extra play with a quick pass to a teammate or a 1 or 2-dribble drive to space to free up additional passing options.
