Open Gym Analysis – Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was lucky enough to get to watch a very talented group of athletes at an open gym at Waterford Kettering earlier this week. There was some flat out elite guard play. His shot fake and and take to the right was at times simply not guardable. Richards finished off it with layups and floaters. He showed the ability to play fast, but stay physical at the same time. Hall was able to advance the ball with the dribble and the pass and was more than able to attack of the bounce. He's earned it and this look like it will continue for a few more years. Cooley is just super smooth with an unteachable feel for the game. It feels like he's going to continue his game's growth. I liked the way that Lamb protected the ball with his left on the way to the rim and finish over the top with his right. He was unselfish with the ball, looking to push the pace with the pass up the floor. Walters shot VERY well. I saw 5 catch and shoot triples and am confident that there were more. I liked the way that he used the bounce pass to hit teammates downhill.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
