has shown so much of why he’s starting to get on the radar of college coaches in recent months. Through a number of showings, Boyd’s showcased a well rounded scoring arsenal—attacking the basket aggressively with strong burst and speed to attack driving lanes and finish creatively at the rim. Complementing his downhill pressure, Boyd has also displayed a confident shooting touch from the perimeter, proving himself to be a highly versatile and reliable outside shot maker.
While official offers haven’t necessarily come in just yet, if Boyd continues on the track that he’s on as a dependable guard capable of effecting the game from either guard spot, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see schools at the next level begin to show interest in the coming months.

carried much of that momentum he generated last summer’s live periods into his junior season. Seeing himself shoulder a much larger portion of the offensive production for this Lenape group with a different construction of the roster this year, Boyd demonstrated a diverse scoring profile— effective as an aggressive driver using good burst and speed to attack driving angles and finish with creativity around the basket while countering his rim pressure with his confident outside shooting touch, excelling as an extremely versatile and confident outside shot maker.

One of the more electric guards in all of South Jersey, Boyd came out aggressive and never looked back, sparking Lenape to a 10-0 opening run and ripping off 16 first-quarter points to establish what would be an insurmountable lead. Known more for his slashing, he continued a recent uptick in his perimeter shooting, knocking down four 3s and showing unabashed confidence in firing as soon as he saw a sliver of daylight. Boyd would mix in some of his trademark dribble-drives while also using his quickness and athleticism to speed the game up and make plays on the defensive end. As the game continues to slow down for him, the scholarship-level upside gets closer and closer to becoming reality.

With Lenape suffering key losses from a year ago to both graduation and transfer, Boyd has taken a key step forward as an upperclassman to help the Indians maintain their level and enter the SJ Group 4 bracket as the second seed. Boyd pairs with senior guard

to form one of South Jersey’s most dynamic backcourts, as he’s bumped his production up to 14 points, nearly 5 rebounds, and over 3.5 assists per game. He’s an electric athlete with a quick first step off the bounce and explosive finishing ability in the lane. He uses his physical tools and motor to make plays on the defensive end and get out in transition while also showing promising flashes as a pullup shooter with range out to the perimeter. He’s still improving his feel and decisionmaking as a lead guard but offers clear scholarship-level upside with his natural ability in the backcourt.

has proven that he can influence the game both on and off the ball, and he’ll look to showcase much of that offensive skillset over the course of his junior season. He’s proven to be a dependable perimeter shooter on spot up opportunities, a decisive and effective decision maker when attacking off the dribble, and valuable as a secondary ball handler—capable of handling pressure against opposing ball pressure and helping to initiate the offense at times.

has proven he can impact the game both on and off the ball throughout the course of the summer and will look to carry much of that into the fall. He has shown to be a reliable perimeter shot maker when spotting up, decisive when attacking the paint effectively off the dribble, and can also contribute as a secondary ball handler—capably managing pressure and helping initiate the offense.
