On Friday and Saturday, I attended the NEPSAC Showcase at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. There were four courts going on at once and games going from 8:00am to 9:00pm. Though I tried to watch as many games and teams as possible, I didn't get to see everyone — so my coverage this weekend will be reflective of the games I saw.

It's impossible to keep your eyes off of Millogo as soon as he enters the gym. He's a true 7-foot-3 and has long arms to match it --- he can practically dunk without jumping from the floor. He uses his length and size to block shots at the rim on defense and catch lobs, get rebounds and dunk everything on the offensive end. The rising junior even stepped out and hit some shots, and he has the ability to handle it a little bit. Alabama and Georgia have already offered him after he came onto the scene this weekend, and many more high majors will follow suit. He's in an excellent place (CATS Academy) to develop his big man skills and play with/against tons of talented big men.

Lomicka was one of the most intriguing big men at the NEPSAC Showcase because of his combination of size, length and guard skills. The 6-foot-10 forward handles and shoots the ball well, and he's able to grab the ball and take it up the floor when he gets rebounds. He also defends multiple positions because of his coordination and foot speed and is a smart player on both ends positioning-wise. Once he gets a little more under control with the ball, he should have scholarship coaches blowing up his phone. This will be a big "prove-it" season for Lomicka at Suffield Academy.

There has not been a time I've seen Edema play where he hasn't looked better than the previous time I saw him. In situations where he used to be out of control and lose the ball, he's beginning to secure the rock better and figure out his footwork around the rim. He had a really nice spin move against Darrow that showcased this development perfectly. He was also probably the best rim protector at the entire showcase as a result of his size, length, and timing, which is special for his age. High major prospect who clearly works his behind off to eliminate his basketball weaknesses.

Vasic could be considered a wing but I put him in this category because he protects the rim like a big man and looks to still be growing/developing physically. Th 6-foot-8 wing/forward can shoot it quite well and has a beautiful-looking shot. He has nice footwork and finishing touch in the lane, too, and is always willing and able to make the extra pass out to shooters. He plays the game the right way but has all of the tools to become one of the more intriguing prospects in New England as he continues to develop. Keep an eye on Vasic if you're a D1 coach.

If you saw Egbuna rebound the ball on a couple defensive possessions and run the floor, you'd think he's currently at a high major D1 school --- he has a ridiculous body and motor that few big men in high school have. He's still learning how to put it all together skill-wise, but he protects the rim flawlessly and runs the floor like an absolute madman. He's a special physical specimen who should fit right into PSA's athletic, run-and-gun system, not to mention their stout defense. He has been offered by Duquesne but I bet more will be coming.
