New Balance P32 League: Show-Me and Land of Lincoln Observations

This duo really understood how to take care of the rock and make their teammates happy in the process. Foulk was able to make some tough shots here today when he wasn't finding the open man on the floor. Will did a nice job of running the team from out top and scoring the ball off the dribble. Jayden seemed to excel at times in the open court with his ability to get to the cup. He was able to connect on some mid-range jumpers along the way today. Jayden attends Lutheran St Charles. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gerdeman is the son of Lindenwood University Men's Basketball Coach Kyle Gerdeman. Karson who attends St Charles West HS is crafty passer with the ball in his hands. He understands on how to set up his teammates with good court vision. Brown is highly touted in the 2026 Missouri Class and for good reason. Ethan a good-sized combo guard can really knockdown shots and in a hurry at times. He has good shooting mechanics and always looks to receive the ball in the pocket. Gassim has great body control going to the bucket and really looks to overpower defenders at times. He seems to excel at times getting the ball into the paint and finishing at the cup. Gassim attends Principia and finished with 13 points today. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cisse has a good look to him and is a teammate of Toure at Principia. He does a nice of keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. Sekou collected several putbacks here today and rebounds for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075490' first='Gateway' last='Knights P32']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323278' first='Ty' last='Laur']</strong> plays across the river over in Illinois at Pinckneyville HS for his father Matt Laur. Wow, I'm showing my age now I can remember when Matt (Dad) played at McKendree University in the early 2000's for legendary Harry Statham. He really piled up the scoring numbers </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ty has a good set of hands and some nifty passing skills to showcase at times. He finished with a nice touch around the basket here today when given the opportunity. Ty plays the game as an undersized post currently but eventually could play out as a stretch forward with his skill set. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] 17U</em></strong>:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] defeated the Wisconsin Playmakers South here today while we were in attendance. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2424664' first='Javion' last='Thompson']</strong> a UNSIGNED senior plays the game with a lot of activity and really does a nice job of staying vocal on the floor. Lee who attends Lincoln Park HS was able to knockdown some mid-range pull-ups when he wasn't slashing to the rack. Ahmad was able to showcase some long-range jumpers today off the bounce. He does a nice job of surveying the floor and playing extremely unselfish at times with his game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2830712' first='Larry' last='Harris']</strong> is a POGO stick on the floor with his game. The bouncy Harris was all over the floor here today to make a play. Harris rebounds the ball well for his size on the floor and constantly plays with a high motor. He was constantly up and down the floor with his athleticism. Larry attends Lincoln Park HS with Lee.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Nathan Song</strong> was a bright spot off the bench for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons']. Song a left-handed guard was able to set up shop out in the corners while knocking down several three-pointers along the way.
