Okal was a big time piece for Pine Creek, capable of erupting for big scoring nights while still staying locked in on the defensive end. He brings strong handles and does a great job creating space, allowing him to get to his spots and make plays with confidence. What stands out is his balance and he can take over offensively when needed, but never lets that take away from his effort on defense. His ability to impact both sides of the floor, combined with his skill and composure, made him a tough matchup and a key contributor all season

Pine Creek has difference-makers who try to impact the game by making high-effort plays and playing within the offense. Their Senior guard Okal is an example of that. He plays well both on and off ball, he rotates the ball to keep the defense honest, and he gets inside of the teeth of the defense to change up the flow. The offense seems to flow when he’s in as he’s not a player looking to only score, although he’s had his moments this year. We’d like to see him continue to be an X-factor who can affect the game in ways other than scoring. He makes the rankings for the first time. 

Okal had big time showcase showing out on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he hit shots from deep, pulled up in the midrange, and attacked the rim with confidence. He kept the ball moving, made the right reads, and got his teammates involved. His ability to create offense in different ways made him a constant threat every time he touched the ball. On the defensive end Okal locked in on his matchups, moved his feet well, and stayed disciplined. Whether it was poking the ball loose or jumping passing lanes he was all over the place. That two-way effort made a huge difference and helped set the tone for his team. It was the kind of all-around performance that turns heads
