In just two weeks we will be tipping off the 115th annual IHSAA State Tournament. For tonight though it is "just" a normal Tuesday night slate of Indiana High School Basketball. I'll have boots on the ground at Park Tudor High School to watch the Panthers take on Terre Haute North. Meanwhile, Kyler Staley will be providing coverage of the University at Westfield matchup. As always, we will also have eyes and ears in gyms all across the state in order to bring the very best coverage to our loyal subscribers. Let's dive on in and take a closer look five of the best games in Indiana on this Tuesday night.

Clay City @ Linton

We just moved the Eels of Clay City up to #1 in this week's Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Top 10. Linton checks in at #7 in the Class 2A Top 10. The matchup between junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1560992' first='Paul' last='Oliver'] of Linton and senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1297024' first='Ethan' last='Edwards'] of Clay City will be fun to watch in this one. Clay City hasn't lost since back on December 7th, their second game of the season, when they fell at Northview 40-35. They are 17-1 on the seasons while the Miners are 17-3.

Evansville Central @ Evansville Memorial

These two programs will battle it out on Tuesday night to keep pace at the top of the Southern Indiana Conference standings. Evansville Central is 6-1 in the league and 16-3 overall while Evansville Memorial is 13-5 overall and 5-1 in the SIAC. They are each battling with Evansville Reitz who is already in the clubhouse at 7-1. The Bears of Evansville Central feature a trio of talented seniors in [player_tooltip player_id='1297082' first='Landyn' last='Richason'], [player_tooltip player_id='2466228' first='Zaryen' last='Moore'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2245724' first='Daveon' last='Smith']. Those three will go up against Memorial's [player_tooltip player_id='1539999' first='Luke' last='Ellspermann'], [player_tooltip player_id='2053670' first='Asher' last='Evans'], [player_tooltip player_id='1560950' first='Dylen' last='Kendrick'] and others. If you are down in the Pocket City this will be the game to watch this evening.

Fishers @ Lawrence North

This is the game of the night and honestly one of the most anticipated games of the season. Fishers, the defending Class 4A state champions, are off to a 21-0 start to the season and have spent the entire year ranked #1 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10. However, Lawrence North is has the build of a team who could, potentially, knock them off. Butler signee [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] will be able to hold his own in the backcourt against [player_tooltip player_id='2267046' first='Jason' last='Gardner Jr.'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary']. Then, in the front court, the Tigers will have to manage the size of [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew']. Until somebody knocks off Fishers they will go into every game as a favorite, but if someone were to knock them off along the way it could happen tonight at Lawrence North.

Southwestern (Hanover) @ Providence

For folks down in southern Indiana this is the game for you. Providence has had an excellent season sitting at 14-3 with their three losses coming to 3A Delta, 4A Top 5 Jeffersonville, and 4A New Albany in overtime. This evening, the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A #9 Pioneers will face Southwestern (Hanover) who is 15-4 and recently lost to undefeated, #1 ranked South Ripley by one point. Mount St. Joseph commit [player_tooltip player_id='1528537' first='Landon' last='Kidwell'] leads the way for the Rebels averaging 14.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Juniors [player_tooltip player_id='2813530' first='Braxton' last='Lewis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2399373' first='Brady' last='Cook'] are two more to watch for Southwestern.

Zionsville @ Brebeuf Jesuit

Don't look now, but the Braves of Brebeuf Jesuit have rattled off five straight victories to move to 11-6 on the season. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561106' first='Austin' last='Ford'] and senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578446' first='Nick' last='Sobek'] lead the way for Brebeuf averaging 12.5 points and 12.4 points per game respectively. Keep an eye on sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140342' first='Chace' last='Ford'] and 6'10" sophomore center [player_tooltip player_id='2141045' first='Ben' last='McKinney'] as well for the Braves. IU-Indianapolis signee [player_tooltip player_id='1525678' first='Maguire' last='Mitchell'] leads Zionsville in scoring at 19.8 points per game while [player_tooltip player_id='1525679' first='Drew' last='Snively'], one of the top uncommitted players in the senior class, adds 13.3 points per game. The Eagles are 11-10 on the year.
