Expert Analysis
Jed Tai | Prep Hoops Scout
Known for his perimeter shooting, Smith certainly knocked down open shots but also looked to create off the bounce and get to the hoop. He capably absorbed contact on drives and was also more than willing to kick things out to open teammates for opportunities. Good effort on the defensive end as well from the Beaverton sophomore.

Smith is a promising sophomore guard with a smooth, confident offensive game. A solid outside shooter, he can heat up quickly if left open and has the ability to swing momentum in a hurry. Smith handles the ball well and can create off the dribble with both his left and right hand, giving him versatility as a scorer and playmaker. An unselfish team player with developing upside, he’s a name to watch as he continues to grow into a bigger role over the next few years. He finished with 11 points.
