It's time to celebrate craziness with National Absurdity Day! Yesterday we looked at 5 seniors that we think are going to have seasons so good it's absurd and we did the same with some juniors today. It's the sophomores turn!

Thomas will be playing for one of the most talented teams in the state, but he more than belongs. Thomas is an elite athlete, but he plays with grit, effort and toughness. He gets up and down the floor in a hurry, pushing the pace offensively and being the first back on D. Thomas is simply a must watch prospect.

Lewis absolutely showed out at the PH Sophomore ID Camp this fall. If you saw him there, you know why I think he could be in line for a huge sophomore season. Lewis is an energy player that brings it on both ends of the floor. He's versatile offensively with the makings of an elite mid range game, a quickly developing shot from deep and the ability to create off the bounce.

Schick is a player that's seen really nice growth and development in his game. We could see that this high school season, much like we did in the summer and fall. He has the ability to attack with both hands and can create when he has the ball.

Raper has really seen his game round into form and it could be fun to watch this season. He thrives in the open floor and has a dangerous mid range game and jumper. Raper can pull up in transition and bury his shot. Better yet, he's a 2 way player that can create turnovers with active hands.

From everything that I hear, Buckley could be a player to watch up north this season. He has a nice frame that could be very tough to match up with. Buckley is a lead guard that can both score and distribute with solid court vision. He plays on a talented team, but could really shine in whatever his role is as a sophomore.
