[player_tooltip player_id='2424028' first='Jayvon' last='Byrd'] | 6'2 G 2027 West Catholic

Byrd cashed three triples for 15 points in the semis finals against Dobbins before going federal against Cristo Rey with SEVEN threes. Catching pitches and dribble-handoffs from Wheatley, effortlessly pulled from deep beyond the arc. In addition to the movement shooting, the sophomore guard converted on spot-up attempts. Then, he secured the championship win with four straight makes from the free throw line. In the end, Byrd finished with 25 points and the MVP award.

[player_tooltip player_id='1477746' first='Amir' last='Nelson'] | 6'0 G 2025 Cristo Rey

In the semis versus Friends Select, Nelson made plays with his drive-and-kick game and hit shots from deep to his Blue Pride a step ahead of the Falcons in the first half. But it wasn't until he went on a heater in the third quarter that they pulled away. Nelson drilled a trio of threes off the catch and accounted for 10 of his team's 20 points in the period. Overall, he scored a game-high 22 points, plus 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Nelson went on to pace his team in the title game with 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2251708' first='Tyler' last='Tolbert'] | 5'11 G 2026 Cristo Rey

Tolbert ran the show for his team with two-way playmaking. Versus Friends Select, gashed the defense with his quickness off the drill, first by scoring in the paint, then by using the threat of his handle to create for others. Against West Catholic, Tolbert was a nuisance at the defensive point of attack. His steals and forced turnovers created opportunities for the Blue Pride to get out in transition where they thrive. He put up 7 points, 5 boards, and 7 assists in game one; and 5 assists and 3 steals in game two.

[player_tooltip player_id='1576722' first='Kingston' last='Wheatley'] | 6'7 F 2026 West Catholic

While Byrd was lighting things up on offense against Cristo Rey, Wheatley was flying around on defense. He anchored the Burrs' zone by altering every shot in the paint early on and later deterring shots altogether. Cristo Rey pressured the ball, making it difficult for the Burrs to drive-and-kick. So Wheatley's ability to operate out at the top of the key and get the ball to their shooter paid major dividends. In the title game, he put up 6 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks.

Makaii Akridge (2026) and [player_tooltip player_id='2336896' first='Haneef' last='Davis'] (2026) shot the lights out for Dobbins versus West Catholic, scoring 20 and 12 points, respectively.

George Mason-commit [player_tooltip player_id='1187931' first='Devin' last='Booker'] (2025) turned in a big defensive performance with some shotmaking late to tally 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks against Friends Select.

Jay Chiles (2025) paced Friends Select with his pull-up threes versus Cristo Rey, notching 12 points and 5 boards.
