Let's break down some of the highest-rated incoming transfers among the 2026 class!

-Huan arrives to GP from a prep school in Florida and seems primed for a big year in the DMV. Standing close to 7', Huan is an athletic forward prospect that protects the paint, hits the glass, is unselfish, and flashes some perimeter skill as a C+S target or skilled passer. While he has some work to do as a lateral mover, Huan's motor runs pretty hot in transition and he'll surprise scouts with his defensive versatility. The southpaw forward is a big reason for the palpable buzz building for Georgetown Prep this preseason.

-Brown transfers into Carroll after a summer on the war path with TTO after announcing his departure from PVI. A versatile scoring PG who will have a retooled roster of weapons to pass to on the wings and in the paint, Brown and in return Carroll- could be in for a big year. Brown will need to mix the right amount of flash and substance alongside backcourt mates Bolding/Jobin/Graves to push the Lions towards the top of the WCAC

-A W/F tweener with a growing perimeter skillset, Huan will have a much bigger role with Sandy Spring as a prospect that can shoot, pass, and finish well around the basket. The handle and first step are still a bit raw, but Huan makes good decisions with the basketball in his hands and makes moves well off the ball as a C+S or roll target. Adding in his shot-blocking and defensive rebounding abilities will bolster a scrappy SSFS defense.

-Elliott returns back to the area from a year playing with and against some of the top talent in the country at AZ Compass. Elliott has grown as a playmaker on the ball that is always probing the defense to create for his teammates, executing one-handed dimes while also directing traffic after making a pass to collect hockey assists. The southpaw lead guard has also developed better feel for when to get his own, knocking down C+S looks or finishing around the basket with extension lays once he knows he has a step on his matchup.

-Shifty PG transfers into Maryland from NC to bring in additional play-making, scoring, and shooting to the Mustangs' lineup. Coleman stood out at the Top 250 Expo as a PG that can make plays with the ball but isn't afraid to do the little things that add up to winning: stunting at drivers, chipping down to box out bigs around the basket, saving a loose ball to a teammate, taking charges, etc. If the jumper falls consistently on C+S looks and he never lets the defensive intensity level drop-- he can earn minutes early in Forestville.
