Double-Double Threats
Xavier Jones | 6’2” F | Purnell Swett HS | Class of 2020
First got a glimpse of Jones at the Flight 22 Jamboree a few weeks back when I witnessed him finish with multiple 20 points & 20 rebound games.. His game is no fluke. Jones may be undersized, but he possesses elite strength on the inside that allows him to bull his way through even much larger or taller opponents. If Jones can continue to develop his wing skills, he very well could become another one of those undersized forwards that racks up double-doubles at the next level one day.
Reginald Clark | 6’5” F | Kinston HS | Class of 2018
Clark is no longer a secret after having somewhat of a breakout season as a junior. Standing around 6’5”, Clark possesses great bounce, willpower and a high motor. He does an excellent job defensively beating his man to spots and frustrating top level big men by making them work on the inside and drawing countless charges against them. On the glass, he does a great job getting his body into his opponents and sealing them off. On the offensive end, he’s developed a solid mid-range shot and utilizes the jump hook well.
Damar Sutton | 6’4” W | Northeastern HS | Class of 2018
Excellent guard/wing prospect in Elizabeth City that is still somehow manages to fly way under the radar. At 6’4”, he’s got great length, good bounce and long arms that enable him to out-rebound post players on a consistent basis. He’s also a very underrated passer from the wing spot and could very well have a few triple double games this season. Colleges looking for a versatile swing-man that can handle the ball, rebound, defend multiple positions and score, Damar will fit that mold for you immediately.
