About Jordan
Expert Analysis

Krause, who is a member of the division three runner up Seymour during the high school season, showcased a number of different intangible tools this weekend on an excellent Team 1848 UA Rise 16u squad. Jordan, who is typically known during the high school season for his shooting and scoring abilities, was doing the little things for 1848 on Saturday in addition to scoring. Krause was all over the floor in their games against DFTP and Team Compete grabbing loose balls, defending with aggressiveness and energy, and grabbing offensive rebounds. Jordan brings a ton of juice to his team, doing whatever it takes to win and staying engaged at all times. Krause had 11 points in their game against Team Compete .

Krause was quiet in the scoring column finishing with 8 points, but was exceptional on the defensive end. Krause is a dynamic scorer, but much like the rest of the Seymour squad, is unselfish when it is not their game scoring. Krause was tasked with guarding

, a sharp shooting senior committed to Dubuque, in the second half on Saturday. Jordan, who is ranked #10 in the most recent Prep Hoops 2028 rankings, held Benish to just one three point basket in the second half. Krause is one of the many two way scoring options for Seymour, as they look to push to the state tournament in a few weeks.

Another quality prospect for a top ranked division three team and Head Coach Bobby Kuchta. Krause is the third leading scorer on the ultra talented Seymour squad, but in most programs would easily be the leading scorer. Seymour is 14-0, and a big reason is because of Krause’s ability to stretch the defense. The sharpshooting guard had four first half threes, with most of them from the NBA distance on the Bucks’ home court. Krause finished the game with 16 points. In addition to his range, Krause has an extremely shifty and quick first step that allows him to get downhill and create off the bounce. The Seymour program has legitimately five or six guys that can get 20 or more each night. Krause is certainly one of those scoring weapons that can turn into scoring microwaves at any given moment.

Some players are just wired to score. Krause is one of them. He finds his way to the basket for layups and floaters while also scoring from the mid range and from outside the arc. He attacks, attacks and attacks before resting and attacking again. He finishes at a very high level, even over taller post players in the lane. Coming off a strong freshman season at Seymour, Krause is one of several key returning players for a Thunder squad looking to contend for the Bay Conference title.
