Top Shooters To Start The Season: Part 2
Word of God Christian 2019 Max Farthing: You can’t talk about shooting without mentioning Max, he is one of the top shooters in the state without a doubt. At 6’5-6’6 with a nice IQ for the game, he is a difficult player to defend because he uses his IQ to score instead of athleticism. He had big time scoring numbers against Oak Hill Academy and Northwood Temple before going down with a knee injury.
Northwood Temple 2019 Guard Josh Nickelberry: You probably know already but Josh is another youngster that is in the mix for being one of the top shooters in the state. He got off to a slow start in their first game against Oak Hill but after that he has been on fire, with multiple 20+ games and a 30 Point game against Word of God Christian.
Trinity Christian 2019 Guard KJ Marshall: KJ is having one of his best statistical season and his shooting has been very impressive, he’s knocking down the trey ball and just about 40%. With that he’s putting up 12 Points & 3 Assist each night as well as playing some top notch defense.
Raleigh Homeschool 2018 Wing Marcus Richardson: His numbers won’t scream at you due to the fact that he doesn’t take a large amount of shots at all. However Marcus is a pure shooter and is shooting an extremely high percentage from three as well as overall from the field.
Lincoln Charter 2019 Guard Jackson Gabriel: He is doing damage on the floor, averaging 17 points per game and is knocking down the trey ball at a nice rate at 48% a night. Once he catches fire he is a very tough player to keep up with, most importantly he is a player that understands the game and knows how to win.
Berean Baptist 2019 Guard Aaron Sinclair: He turned our heads with his performance early in this season against Fayetteville Christian School. During that game he finished with 32 Points on the day and knocked down 8 trey balls.
