These next guys are great candidates to up their scoring numbers in their senior year. They have shown encouraging improvements over the offseason and quite a few of them will see much larger roles this winter. Check out this group of scorers who I like to improve their numbers in a big way this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2616655' first='Brady' last='Angelo'] Seton Catholic 16.3 PPG

Here's an underrated guard who does a good job running the show, but is also a solid secondary scoring option putting up a good chunk of his team's points. He has NBA range from three, shows good finishing with either hand at the hoop, and has the creativity to finish as an undersized guard around bigs in the paint. Scoop shots, short pull-up floaters, and quick shots off of different gathers are just a few ways he finds buckets inside. He's entering his senior season with big expectations at Seton Catholic and should score even more this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451035' first='Avidan' last='West'] Northwest Christian (Colbert) 19.8 PPG

He's not the biggest kid but West has some big-time athleticism and the guile to score around bigger guys at the rim. He has a quick first step and often utilizes a hard jab to create space and go. He does a great job getting to two feet inside, using pump fakes and pivots to find room for shots. He also has the ability to go up over the top of guys with his big leaping. West already plays a big role for the Crusaders, but he should be in for an even bigger year this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2173016' first='Daniel' last='Jackson Jr.'] Renton 14.8 PPG

Jackson Jr. looks to be a huge beneficiary of a lot of other talented guys departing from Renton's program. Dennis Johnson III (23.7 PPG), [player_tooltip player_id='2173099' first='Marques' last='Ili-Meneese'] (10.2 PPG), and [player_tooltip player_id='2140846' first='Micah' last='Ili-Meneese'] (9.3 PPG) are all going to be at new schools this winter and that leaves a lot of shots on the table for Jackson Jr. He's shown some nice growth this summer, attacking the hoop with an improved handle and more aggressive mindset, and it doesn't hurt he's a freaky athlete. He had seven games scoring at least 20 points and shot an outstanding 64% from the field last season. He should make a big leap this winter and lead the Redhawks in scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1485663' first='Tanner' last='Goldsmith'] Freeman 15.4 PPG

Here's a kid I expect big things from this season. Freeman was already one of the stronger programs in the 1A last year and this season they slide down a class into the Northeast 2B League. That being said, the NE2B is one of the strongest leagues in the 2B but Freeman has plus athleticism to go along with a serviceable handle, and has shown some strong play this summer with Hooptown Elite. He's a big-time finisher who runs the floor, can create from different depths, and even steps out to knock down some threes (38%). Freeman's going to be a tough squad again and I expect Goldsmith to have a big senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2616648' first='Tyson' last='Parker'] Silas 14.7 PPG

As a junior, Parker was second on his team in scoring and was highly effective from all spots on the floor. He shot 51% from the floor, 41% from three, and 85% at the foul line. He's a deadly spot-up shooter but also just a really tough kid. He works hard inside to get physical buckets, and shows the patience to work for good looks inside and out. Silas's leading scorer from last season is gone, so it only makes sense they'd look to Parker to up his average and score even more in 2024-25.

[player_tooltip player_id='1984488' first='Karsen' last='Denault'] Napavine 14.2 PPG

There are 39.8 points per game walking out the doors at Napavine with 2024 graduates James Grose and Jarin Prather. That leaves Denault as the lone returner who averaged double digits for the Tigers last season. He really started to show some glimpses of what his scoring numbers could look like this year during Napavine's playoff run. He scored 22 in the district championship against Adna, then dropped 23, 21, and 21 in their first three games at State, all while shooting 36-of-53 from the field (67.9%).

[player_tooltip player_id='1984492' first='Aman' last='Sterling'] Inglemoor 14.1 PPG

Sterling doubled his scoring output from his sophomore to junior year, and while doubling it again is a pretty lofty ask, I would not be surprised to see him up his average to around 17-18 a game. He took just over 12 shots a game, and while his 38% shooting percentage isn't great, he has two other big, strong guys who can score the rock around the paint and hopefully open up some easier looks for Sterling next season. All three are heading into their senior year and Sterling has shown the ability to get hot with extended range as well as create and drill shots in the midrange.

[player_tooltip player_id='1631554' first='Will' last='McDonald'] Mercer Island 13.8 PPG

McDonald is almost a surefire bet to up his scoring average this winter, and probably in a big way. He had 11 games last season of 17 or more points and led the Islanders in scoring on the year. He really emerged this spring and summer as an explosive scorer for [program_tooltip program_id='2078823' first='Washington' last='Supreme'] with his buttery outside shot and the ability to patiently prod inside and finish with good touch. He has the size, shooting, and shot creation to be a one of the top scorers in his league this season.
