Sterling is a guard with some size and shooting ability which has helped him average 17.3 ppg to start the year. He has exhibited deep range and an ability to hit pretty consistently in the midrange, but what really looks to be taking off this year is his ability to create downhill and use his size more to finish at the rim. This has also led to a little more playmaking as Sterling is averaging 5.3 apg, up two full assists from last season.

Aman is a great role player and glue player on any team he is on. He knows his roles on the court and excels at them in a big way. He is long and lanky, which helps him get to the rim and finish over defenders. Sterling can really shoot it, especially from deep. He has a quick release which helps him get shots off right when he touches the ball, before defenders even notice. His game has evolved this summer and I’m excited for what next year could be for Aman.

I am really liking this kid’s game and his growth over the last year. When I first saw him, he looked like a good shooter that could move a bit. Now, he’s really become a threat with the ball in his hands, creating tons of looks off the dribble in the mid-range and showing some more strength to finish at the rim. He’s very secure with the ball and is quick to stop and elevate, making it easy to get his jump shot off while tightly covered.
