McDonald is a fast-rising senior who had a great spring and summer with Washington Supreme and should be the go-to-guy at a sneaky Mercer Island squad. He has a smooth stroke and can create with the rock in his hands, and is a guy who could put up some big scoring numbers this season. He’s shown he can play with some of the top kids in his class and should have a bit of a breakout campaign this winter that could lift him up to be an all-state performer.

Previous Rank: 105rnThe Mercer Island guard is a really interesting player deeper in the rankings who has all the tools to take off. His length is a key component of his game because a player that long, who operates that smooth can find his shot with little space to operate. He’s got great touch from mid-range and 3-point, but also shows the handle necessary to create some stuff to the hoop.
