On defense, he was a solid defender, as he forced a few steals and grabbed multiple rebounds. His display of talent showed that he is an elite scorer that can impact every aspect of the game, while leading his team to the championship.

Deliajh Matthews showed the ability to score at will with one of the best scoring performances of the day. Finishing in transition, knocking down mid-range jumpers, and knocking down a couple of threes reflects this. All of that happened in the first half, as he went into halftime with 16 points, ending the game with 18 points. He turned steals into fast break opportunities. On defense, he would fight through screens and even tipped the ball away. It was a great performance by him that helped his team win.
