Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings - Stock-Risers

It is rankings update time here at Prep Hoops Indiana. We began by releasing our expanded Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings on Monday highlighting the Top 25 plus over 200 names on the Watch List. As always, we don't just spit out new rankings and then move. At Prep Hoops Indiana we dive deeper highlighting stock-risers, new names, positional breakdowns, and much more. Let's dive on in and take a look at some of the rising sophomores who have done the most to improve their stock since our last rankings update towards the very endow the high school season.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    A high-upside big man that has flown a bit under-the-radar in a super talented rising sophomore class at Fort Wayne Snider High School, Barnes is a two-way threat around the basket. He runs the floor well, plays above the rim offensively, and can block shots on the defensive end of the floor. Look for him to continue to make some noise in the month of July into his sophomore season at Snider. One of the better long-term front court prospects in Fort Wayne's Class of 2027.     This 6'1" guard had an impressive freshman season for Guerin Catholic getting some valuable experience in the rotation as a freshman. Then, he was excellent throughout the spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] and had a very strong showing at the Charlie Hughes Showcase taking on a larger role as a rising sophomore for the Golden Eagles. His fluid athleticism with the ball, positional length, and overall skill level make him really projectable as one of the top backcourt prospects in Indiana's Class of 2026.     One of the better pure point guards in Indiana's Class of 2027. Hunter is an excellent passer that was a key piece as a freshman for Silver Creek averaging 6.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.7 assists per game. Along with what he does as a playmaker off of the dribble, Hunter has showcased some improved shooting ability this spring and summer which will put even more pressure on opposing defenses and open up his ability create off of the dribble even more. Part of a very talented young core at Silver Creek.     King has quickly become one of our favorite prospects in the Class of 2027 here at Prep Hoops Indiana. He is so incredibly strong off of the dribble and is relentless when getting downhill to the rim. The 6'2" guard uses his size and strength well to finish at the end of his drives and has no issue playing through contact. After playing a major role as a freshman averaging 8.5 points per game for the Class 3A state runner-up, King is poised for another big year and the Huskies promise to be a contender once again.     One of the breakout starts this spring on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Litzlbauer will make a big impact in the Indianapolis Metropolitan backcourt as a sophomore after transferring over from Ben Davis. The 5'10" point guard is a consistent playmaker off of the dribble with enough burst to get downhill to the rim and the physical strength to play through contact. He made a strong impact with his new team at the Charlie Hughes Showcase helping lead them to a perfect 4-0 weekend.     As we continue to expand our rankings with each update, this 5'9" point guard will eventually find himself include. Mays averaged 11.0 points per game as a freshman at Marquette Catholic and helped lead their young team to a Regional Championship. He is a talented playmaker and shot-creator both for himself and his teammates. Look for his game to continue to really take off as he physically develops and gets bigger/stronger.     It is all about upside when projecting this Park Tudor prospect. That is by no means meant to discredit what he is already capable of as a player, but envisioning what he can become is really exciting. Robisch has a long, thin, 6'5" frame that appears to have plenty of room to grow over the next couple of years. He already has a well-rounded, versatile skill set showcasing the ability to stretch the out beyond the arc. Look for him to start to break out as a sophomore for what should be a really good Park Tudor team at the Class 2A level.
