Darrius was one of the most entertaining players to watch yesterday for Brad Beal Elite. Offensively he’s extremely shifty on the ball, and was getting into the lane to drop dimes to his teammates. With all of the weapons around him, Hawkins excels at getting everyone their share of open looks in the half-court. He’s just as fun to watch defensively where he was relentless pressuring opposing point guards. Anytime his team scored, it was like Darrius was trying to get the ball back as soon as possible. So quick laterally with the fight to get over the top of screens out on the perimeter.
