Elvis impressed in so many different areas in an opening night win. He was bringing the energy and effort on the defensive end, picking up full court to create turnovers. This resulted in a couple easy fast break baskets for his team, allowing Minnesota Splash to go on a run to open up the game. He knocked down several triples off the catch and used the dribble to attack the paint. He has good vision and was finding teammates with kick out or long passes for transition scores.

Alex led his team to a hard fought win on Friday night, being the go-to scoring option for most of the game. He did the majority of his damage from the perimeter, being able to connect with tough looks from three. He could pull-up off the dribble right over a defender or hit catch-and-shoot looks off balance or with a hand in his face. He also showed off his speed with some strong takes to the basket where he could attack and go up through traffic.

Jacob was making plays all over the floor on Friday, helping his team advance to the next round. He was fun to watch create for himself with the ball in his hands, being capable of scoring from all three levels. He is a confident shooter and was knocking down looks from well beyond the three-point line. I also saw him pull up and hit a mid-range jumper. Stiele was also impactful on the defensive end, forcing turnovers with traps and taking charges.

Joel is a phenomenal slasher and is so hard to stop from getting to the basket. He does a great job of playing at different speeds with the ball in his hands, having the ability to go from 0 to 100 in a flash to blow by his defender. He has many different ways he can convert around the rim, being able to absorb contact or contort his body to avoid the defender. Saah continues to show flashes of being a threat from the perimeter as well, as he hit a couple mid-range jumpers.

Jaxson is a really well rounded player and is extremely versatile at either of the forward spots. He was battling inside, being able to use his strong 6'3” frame to convert through traffic or come away with contested rebounds on both sides of the ball. He can also stretch the floor, being a knockdown shooter off the catch. Riggs also had some impressive passes to cutting teammates with his back to the basket.

Nolan did many great things for his team on Friday night and had the ball in his hands a lot down the stretch in a tight game. He is a super smooth ball handler and had no issues getting around his defender to get inside. He has nice touch when he gets into the paint, being able to use a floater to shoot over taller players. Myren was also a threat from beyond the arc, shooting confidently out of the catch-and-shoot.

Rylan is fun to watch with the ball in his hands, as he is a versatile offensive weapon. He started the game off with a strong take to the basket, but did the majority of his scoring from the perimeter after that. He is super quick and can change direction in a flash. He is a true three level scorer, as I saw him pull up and hit a mid-range jumper, as well as a triple off the catch. McPipe is a dynamic combo guard who can heat up and take over a game.
