Luke had the best shooting performance I saw all weekend in a win over Minnesota Fury . The 5’10” guard is so tough to keep up with, as he is constantly moving without the ball and knows how to create space for a shot. He hit 8 three-pointers, all coming on shots off the catch. He has very smooth shooting mechanics and can get looks off before the defense can close out on him. He was also a difference maker on the defensive end, picking up full court at times and forcing turnovers. Schroeder totaled 26 points with 18 coming in the second half.
Colton nearly led his team to a win over JSizzles, but just fell short in the second half. I was really impressed with his ability to slash and attack the basket. He was both pushing the ball in transition and taking defenders off the dribble. He has a strong 6’2” frame and was using that to absorb contact to draw fouls or convert on tough finishes. He was also a threat from beyond the arc, as I saw him knock down a couple threes. Purcell had a great performance on Sunday in a really competitive matchup.
Colton has been a player who has impressed me so far this spring and he had a great performance in the one game I saw him in. He has great size for the wing position and was effective when crashing the offensive boards for second chance opportunities. He can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, working well off the ball. He also had some impressive takes to the basket, where he could cap it off with an acrobatic finish. Miller brings some versatility to the defensive end as well, as I saw him block some shots.

Peyton turned in two super solid performances on Sunday, including 23 points in their last game of the weekend. He was great around the basket, running in transition for some impressive layups at full speed. He can finish with either hand and has great touch from a couple feet from the rim. I saw him score in the mid-range and pick up some steals when pressuring the ball. Gholson fits very well on this team, as he can play with or without the ball to make a difference.
Highlights
Tyler was conducting the offense for the JSizzles’ offense, showcasing all of the tools of a great floor general. He has a tight handle and was never fazed by defensive ball pressure. He is an excellent slasher and was getting downhill for some difficult finishes with either hand. The freshman guard also has phenomenal vision and was finding teammates for layups in the half court or with long cross-court passes. Forrest is going to be a problem if he continues to improve his perimeter game, which he’s on pace to do.
Highlights
Kolby was one of my favorite players from the expo this spring and he showed a lot of the same skills on Sunday. He served as his team’s main ball handler most of the time he was on the floor and was creating for himself and his teammates. He had an impressive mid-range jumper off the dribble right before the halftime buzzer, shaking his defender to free space to pull up. Thompson is super quick and crafty when using the dribble and is a scoring threat from all three levels.
Highlights
Aaron is an intriguing prospect in Minnesota’s 206 class and he showed flashes of some real potential on Sunday. He is listed at 6’8” and has a unique skill set. He looked comfortable hitting shots from the perimeter, being able to get looks off right over the defense when operating out of the catch-and-shoot. He also used his size to his advantage with some contested rebounds, as well as altering opponents shots. Jeppson will be a prospect to watch out of Spring Lake Park.
