For our 2026 players to watch, we start with Maddox Hunstad Maddox Hunstad 6’5″ | SG Beachside | 2026 State FL , a 6’6” 180 lb, two-sport athlete who brings another dimension to the court with his shooting and playmaking ability for the NightRydas squad. His frame allows him to commit defensively to disrupting passing lanes and more often than not ends with him finishing a layup or dunk on the other end. Hunstad is also a high IQ player, moving without the ball into open areas when zoned up to find his operating space. Though he only attempted a few shots from behind the arc last weekend, his shot mechanics are sound and he is a very capable long range shooter. With more minutes as the circuit wears on, he should see an increase in shot attempts and makes from deep as well.

- The 6’7′ Kevin Thomas Kevin Thomas 6’7″ | SF Sagemo0nt | 2026 State FL is up next. He is that preeminent glue guy every team needs. Flashing to the right spot on offense for an open layup and being able to get a hand in passing lanes and force the opposition into turnovers that lead to points. Thomas didn’t see a high volume of minutes on the floor in Memphis but what he was able to do sticks with you after the highlights fade as you can pinpoint something he did in a game that lead to a victory.
Herly Brutus, a 6’7” wing/guard, embodies the future of the game. A high octane player who pushes the pace and knows how to run a team, while having visibility over his defenders. He was asked to do a lot in Memphis and even though it may not have always shown on the box score, his impact for the Rebels was immeasurable. Brutus was flying around the court on the defensive end and able to lead the break for his teammates as they filled their lanes on the wings. Keep a keen eye on Brutus as his game continues to blossom this year on the circuit because he will definitely be climbing up boards sooner rather than later.
Jaxon Richardson is a name some may recognize. The 6’6”, 180 lb forward only played sparingly in Memphis but the flashes that were seen certainly show a player ready to make an even greater jump this year. His ball-handling skills are vastly improved and Richardson’s ability to get downhill and stop on a dime and freeze his defender was on display. As the circuit wears on, Richardson is poised to play more minutes and feature his drive game all across the country.
