The Patriots so far have specialized in creating turnovers and getting out in transition. That wasn't the case at the Hornet shoot out as Putnam City West slowed down and it limited their offense of production. They struggle defensively to keep guards out of the lane. All in all the Patriots didn't play their best basketball, but still have a chance mend their blemishes.
Booker T. Washington
Norman North
The Timberwolves are facing injuries to some of their top players. TJ Brown, Cameron Martin and Marcus Dickinson were all in street clothes as the rest of the team took the floor. Leaving majority of the scoring burden to 2017 Point Guard Trae Young. He turned it on and carried the Timberwolves on Saturday. Norman North will be a solid team if they remain healthy if not the Timberwolves could be in trouble.
Muskogee
Muskogee is a team that is going to thrive off of grit. This team isn't loaded with scoring talent so they all buy in on the defensive end and help each other vocally. They have a few bigs who clog the paint and make it tough on opponent in the interior. Muskogee is a team off the radar to watch out for.
Tulsa Central
The braves still rely on Elijah Landrum and Mike Harris for most of their scoring, but another player is emerging. 2017 Power Forward Marvin Lowe has come along nicely not as a player that Central will run sets for bigs as someone who can get their hands dirty on the offensive glass. Central is still fine tuning their game in perpetration for their season opener Friday against Webster.
