A prospect who made some noise on the Prep Hoops Circuit this summer, Larkins has continued that momentum into averaging almost 12 points and 7 rebounds a night for Taylor. Efficient from the floor, Larkins is shooting 63% from the field because he waits to take good shots. Larkins attended a couple of small college prospect camps in the fall, he should get interest from regional small college programs due to his size, production and motor.

Last player of this article is the second Cincinnati based prospect to be featured. Larkins is also a prospect we saw on the Prep Hoops Circuit in the spring. Larkins is a high motor wing forward who rebounds the ball at a high rate for his height. Making some sweet reverse layups at the rim and knocking down a couple mid-range jumpers, Larkins has a bit of a throwback game to score the basketball. Like what he brings to the table, especially with how he fits next to other talented players.

The interior presence on his Midwest Basketball Club team, Larkins did a nice job of hustling on the offensive glass to create extra opportunities for his team. The motor and rebounding ability Larkins showed wasn’t surprising as he grabbed 4.4 RPG as a Junior for Taylor and could be one of the conference leaders in that category next season. Also able to finish with either hand at the rim, Larkins is an efficient interior scorer.
