Dawson is one of the most slept on players in the state in my opinion. He has all the makings of a colligate basketball player, as he can do it all on the court. His athleticism stands out first, being able to jump out of the gym and put anyone on a poster in any moment. He also has a lights out shot from deep and displayed it over the weekend by shooting 43% from deep. His range extends well beyond the line too, being able to sink it with ease. He’s a fun player to watch and someone coaches should keep an eye on.
Hintz is another superb athlete at the point, and he led his Lyncs to the 1A title this winter. He’s a highlight waiting to happen, has great reactions to rack up steals (2.5 SPG), and has the big bounce to play above the rim. But he’s not just an athletic finisher; he’s also displayed a buttery jumper and the ability to score from each level, pouring in 22.1 points per game this past season.
Dawson is a high-flying, athletic guard with the ability to take over any game. He scores efficiently from all three levels, making him a versatile offensive threat. His deep shot stands out as he sinks them with ease, stretching defenses and creating space for his teammates. Additionally, Dawson’s strength allows him to finish through contact down low, showcasing his toughness and scoring prowess.
Hintz is an athletic scoring guard who has been a huge factor and energy creator for the Lyncs this season. He’s averaging 22.4 PPG while showing efficiency from all levels (51.6/35.6/86.5 splits) and is the type of shooter who won’t miss the same shot twice. His quickness with the ball, array of moves off the bounce, and elite athleticism make him a tough cover one-on-one and a guy who can create momentum with his scoring runs. He’s also snagging 2.7 steals per game and usually capitalizes on those turnovers with highlight finishes on the other end.
This guard is an elite scorer, capable of putting up points with remarkable efficiency. His ability to create space allows him to generate separation and get his shot off with ease, making him a constant offensive threat. His athleticism shines in transition, where he throws down powerful dunks that energize his team. Division II coaches should definitely have him on their radar, as his skill set promises high-level contributions at the next level.
