Next In Line: 2021 Prospects
William Felton 6’5″ PF – Millbrook High School
Old school back to the basket big man with a neat bag of tricks inside. Whether facing a player much bigger or smaller, he finds ways to get around them inside and score the ball. Also does a great job on the glass boxing out and out-hustling his opponents. As he continues to grow and gain experience, he has all the makings of a double-double type player. Intriguing prospect.
KJ Garrett 5’11” PG – Caldwell Academy
Cat quick point guard with high level court vision and a air-tight handle. Will contribute at a high level on varsity sooner than later. Plays with great poise, pace and shows off an excellent basketball IQ. Get’s to any spot on the floor at will. Everything you want from your point guard, K.J. Garrett will give that to you. Potential to be a high level prospect.
Carter Whitt 6’2″ PG – Leesville Road High School
High level point guard prospect. Possesses the total offensive package. Handles the ball extremely well, shoots well, gets shifty in isolation and has excellent court vision. Has been competing against players much older than him for years. Athleticism is also improving. Excellent prospect who is already a household name in many recruiting circles.
Quentin Richardson 6’0″ SG – Weldon High School
Crafty scorer with a great ability to finish inside. One of the best finishers in the freshman class. Uses the glass better than most young prospects and shields off defenders with his body. Doesn’t blow you away with speed or athleticism, but uses angles well to get shots off and finish at an exceptional rate. Had several 40+ point games in middle school. Should his athleticism catch up to his ability to create and finish, he could be a big-time scorer.
Dontrez Styles 6’6″ SG – Kinston High School
Excellent prospect with a load of long term potential. Defends, rebounds, creates offensively inside and off the dribble. Has a deft shooting touch around the basket and knocks down the deep ball with great consistency. Tough competitor that hates to lose. Excellent size and next level athleticism at the wing spot. Only getting better. Could be a top tier player on a national level one day should he continue to put in the work.
Dontavious Short 5’6″ PG – Farmville Central High School
Lightning quick point guard with electric athletic ability despite his height. Blows by most defenders with ease and can finish above the rim. Does a great job finding players in transition and is consistent getting into the paint from halfcourt sets. Time will tell just how great of a point guard he can be.
