Haythorn has quietly become a major reason behind Eaton’s strong 9–4 start, even if his name hasn’t caught the spotlight yet. Averaging 17.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, he’s been a picture of consistency with double figures in 10 games. At 6’3″, his length creates real matchup problems, allowing him to score inside against smaller defenders while still impacting the glass. He causes havoc in the paint with his ability to finish through contact, but he’s far from limited there. His jumper is smooth and quick, forcing defenders to respect him on the perimeter and opening up driving lanes.
