impacted the game both inside and outside. Jasani showed himself to be an extremely physical point guard. As a driver, he never shied away from contact. He is great at putting his head down and bumping defenders with his shoulders, creating space for layups, which he was able to hit at tough angles and through contact. This allowed him to get to the rim constantly because of his bowling-ball mentality when it came to getting downhill. He was also a great floor spacer. His three-point shooting off the catch was very impressive, and overall he displayed soft touch, both from outside and around the rim. He had this layered offensive impact while locking up his matchup on the other end.
When a player touches the ball and the entire bench yells “Shooter!,” it’s an immediate indication to keep an eye on said player, particularly beyond the three-point line.
Campbell, who finished with a stat-line similar to Aguirre, showed that he was deserving of the label from the Ankeny sideline. Making 6-of-13 shots from the field and finishing 2-of-4 from deep, Cambell’s calling card is his ability to shoot the rock, showing off a smooth stroke and the ability to cash in from distance despite the focus from his opponents on his best attribute.
Campbell is one of the best isolation scorers in the state, a gifted ball-handler with great footwork and the ability to shoot it from the mid-range off the bounce. He does a great job playing with pace, changing speeds and directions with the dribble, and he’s a really good scorer from 15-feet and in. He averaged 12.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game on 44% shooting as a sophomore.
A skilled playmaker who handles it well, Campbell is one of the better shot creators in the state. He has really good footwork, plays with pace, is capable of changing directions without losing speed, and he shoots it really well off the dribble. He averaged 12.4 points per game to go with 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 steals as a sophomore.
Campbell is a really skilled offensive player with great footwork, handles, and finishing ability around the rim. He’s dynamite in the mid-range, getting to his spots and knocking down shots routinely off the dribble. He sees the floor well and is a skilled passer. He figures to be a big part of the Hawks’ rotation as a sophomore.
Campbell is one of the best pure scorers in the 2027 class, a three-level threat who can play with or without the ball in his hands. He showed a willingness to post up smaller defenders and score on the block, and he’s a really skilled shooter off the dribble who knows how to get to his spots off the bounce. He impressed as a defender throughout the afternoon, picking opposing ball-handlers clean on multiple occasions and turning defense into quick and easy offense.
