Jacob is easily the top player in the class, maybe even the state. He is a 6’10” monster in the paint who is extremely crafty for his size. He has great touch around the rim and his footwork is elite. Cofie knocks down mid-range shots nicely and has a much improved deep shot. He is a top 100 ranked player nationally, given the reason why he’s headed to the University of Virginia next year. He dominated the 3A state tournament, averaging 18pts and 11reb a game and leading Eastside Catholic to their first ever state championship.
Luke is a MONSTER and showcased that late in the season, helping lead Richland deep into the tournament. He showed his defensive presence when at the state tournament, averaging 2 blocks a game. He also scored 17pts and 7reb a game. He’s a top defender in the entire state, easily being able to body just about anyone. He’s a top talent in the 2024 class.
Jacori is a freak athlete for his frame at 6’11”. He makes electric highlight plays, being able to out jump opposing players and dunk on them, bringing energy for his whole squad. His IQ for the game has grown a lot and it showed this season. He made his footwork more steady down low and he knows which moves to use in what situations. Whatever school lands him is getting a gem.
Robinson has been a top post player in the state all season, stepping up in big moments for his squad. He is active on the boards, relentlessly going for the ball every possession. He has good vision for a big and knows when the opposing team is collapsing for a double team, he finds his open teammates on the wing. He’s patient during games too, allowing the game to come to him.
Highlights
Luke is a gritty player who is not afraid of contact. He was a big part of the Gig Harbor team, dominating the paint for the team all season long. He defends at a high level, being a phenomenal rim protector. He has great touch around the rim and sets hard screens for his teammates, always rolling hard to the basket. Allison will be a big time college player in my eyes, wherever he lands.
