Grassroots Notebook: Real Run Tryouts

The lefty has a smooth and shifty game, which allows him to shake free from defenders. He's a legit 6'6 plus with ball skills. His 1 v 1 game can potentially be scary as he displayed a good combination of handle and wiggle. It was good to see a glimpse of the 8th grader at the tryout. He's a bully who showed that he's capable of stretching his game. Taylor showed a smooth stroke, from 15 out. His frame is developing nicely, and he showed good quickness and explosion on his drives. It was fun watching him in a tryout for a team he's a lock to make.
