I joked with Barber about being this year’s NASCAR player, all jokes aside, no one could stop him from going left today. He did a good job of getting in the lane, and used his skill and vision to create passing angles for assists. As opponents laid off, he found a way to score with little runners around the cup. The 3.9 student turned quite a bit of heads on the day.

Barber is one of the better defenders, I saw during the Spring. With the competition raised he gets an opportunity to display his signature skill. He’s a player to watch because of his physicality on both sides of the ball.

Barber was one of the better defenders I saw during the day. He has the ability to dominate games with his on ball defense, as he straight up took the ball away for several players during the game I saw. The lefty is a game manager on offense, doing a good job of facilatating. His strength is no doubt on the defensive end, as he has the ability to be one of the top perimeter defenders in his class.

Barber has a good combination of power and explosion. He has a strong upper frame, which prevented offensive players from drving by. He showed a good first step in the halfcout, showing the ability to blow by his initial defender.
