NCISAA Top Performers – Week 4

He's a strong forward with really good rebounding instincts and strength, which makes him able to be a weapon on both sides of the ball. He's a capable scorer as well who really likes to finish through contact around the bucket. He's gotten hot recently with 23 and 28 points in wins over Trinity of Durham and CH and Trinity Academy respectively. He's a strong shooter with the capability to also be shifty and exploit slower defenders with his dribble and attack the rim. He had a double double in their last win, collecting 14 points and 14 rebounds, and also had a 15/7 performance against a strong Caldwell Academy group. He hit six threes in their win over Southlake Christian, showcasing his shooting prowess and versatility in a big way. His ability to play the 3 and the 4 will make him an asset for Coach Schertz at Indiana State immediately, and it's nice to see him really get going early on in the season. He led the team with 22 points in a loss to Southern Durham yesterday, and had 16 in an earlier win this week over NRCA. He's a super well rounded player that is comfortable taking threes as well as scoring around the rim, but his competitiveness and ability to be coached is what stands out with him. He plays hard, seems to always be in the right spots, and just executes with maturity.
