Lleyton is a ultra athletic wing who can impact the game in many ways. On the offensive end he puts extreme pressure on the rim. He gets down hill with ease and with his next level explosiveness. He has a nice handle and strong frame and will bump defenders off in the paint. He isn’t afraid of physicality and will bully smaller defenders. When he is on the break he becomes a major lob threat and will slam it on defenders. He is a very versatile defender and can guard every position on the floor. Lleyton is looking to lead Basha deep in the open division.

The motor stood out immediately. He played with a different level of energy than most, consistently impacting the game in ways that don’t always show up in the box score. He ran the floor hard, defended multiple actions, was active in the passing lanes, and competed on the glass throughout. Offensively, he got downhill whenever he wanted and finished with force at the rim. What stood out most was his ability to create momentum plays—whether it was turning defense into offense, extending possessions with his effort, or simply making winning plays through his activity level and toughness.

He can essentially catapult himself into the air whenever he wants to rise up for a dunk, and he throws them down with real force. He also uses his long strides to close out on opponents defensively and is the type of player who can block shots or deflect passes when teams try to throw it over him. The tools and size are definitely there, and it’ll be exciting to see how he continues to get his name out there this AAU season.

Relentless two-way presence who was a monster in transition all weekend—extremely difficult to contain in the open floor with his combination of speed, athleticism, and nonstop motor. Constant pressure attacking downhill, finishing above the rim with ease even through traffic, while also presenting himself as a dangerous lob threat. Defensively, he brought strong on-ball pressure and consistently made things uncomfortable for opposing guards. It’s the consistency of his motor, energy, and impact on both ends that projects so well to the next level.

Another lefty making waves, Leonard had a big sophomore season for Basha as they played a thriller against Sunnyslope in the open Division semifinals in a game Leonard scored 18 points. Another name who stood out at the CREI last summer, Leonard has the athleticism and natural scoring ability to stand out in camp settings. After starting his grassroots season with Az Unity, Leonard has made the switch to the Oakland Soldiers and is one of a couple of high major caliber prospects on their team.
