About Amar’e
Expert Analysis
Delon Bowen | Prep Hoops Scout
He showed the ability to create his own offense off the dribble, getting good lift on his jumper and shooting it well from midrange and three. He mixed in drives to the basket, keeping defenders from sitting on his shot. He was just as comfortable running the offense, making sound decisions with the ball and finding ways to get his teammates involved.

A capable scoring guard who has a bit of point guard feel to him as well. Scores on drive-in layups, turnaround midrange shots, and step-back or catch-and-shoot threes. A vocal presence on the court, consistently calling for the ball when he has an open look. Proved he can read the floor, making repeated passes into the paint to a cutter.
