The event featured high level competition and great games, as well as prospects for colleges of all levels moving forward.
Here’s a look at some of the top 2025 performers from the DC and MD schools at the event.
Cameron Ward Cameron Ward 6'6" | SF Largo | 2025 State #30 Nation MD | 6’7” WF | Largo
Ward is one of the top wings in the 2025 class in the country and considered the best prospect in Maryland in that class, and he showed why with his versatility and production at his size. He showed his athleticism as he got off his feet quickly and played above the rim with ease, he showed his ability to post up and score it in the paint, he handled the ball in transition and showed he can work on or off the ball to get open. What may be the most impressive about him is despite him being the superstar he is, he still defends multiple positions and is an unselfish playmaker as well.
Zion Dixon | 6’6” F | Largo
Dixon looks like the early candidate to be Ward’s second option on this Largo team that looks to repeat, as he also has a blend of size and athleticism that makes him a walking mismatch too. He thrives in transition where he can beat guys down the floor and use his athleticism to finish above the rim, and he provides another big body to guard in the paint and switch on guards. He has inside-out ability and can even be another ball handler, and he’ll be the reason teams can’t double Ward during the season.
Francis Folefac Francis Folefac 6'6" | C Mt. Zion Prep Academy | 2025 State MD | 6’6” F | Mt. Zion
Folefac is coming off a breakout season where he helped Mt. Zion win the first ever Maryland Private School State Championship, and he showed his versatility this past weekend as one of the best players in the gym. The 6’6” forward has the build of a power forward but also has ball skills and feel as a playmaker that allows him to productive across the board. He showed good touch around the rim and out to the perimeter, he made great decisions and he showed his great instincts on both ends of the floor.
Prince Kabera | 6’8” PF | Mt. Zion
Kabera is a new addition to this high school team after showing his potential playing up on the post grad team last year, and this year he could be one of the top players in the Maryland private school league. The 6’8” forward is also very versatile with an inside-out game and the ability to score the ball in a number of different ways. He can post up smaller defenders and attack the glass for extra opportunities, he can step out and has good ball skills and he can impact the game defensively with his lateral movement and strength too.
Josiah Massaquoui | 6’5” WF | Tenley Tigers
The Tigers were one of the deepest teams in attendance at the Fall Showcase, and even a guy coming off the bench like Massaquoui made a big impact and was very productive while playing the right way. While he’s a wing, he’s a strong and powerful athlete that can rebound against bigger opponents and also is a big time finisher above the rim. He’s able to take smaller defenders off the bounce, he brings physicality to both ends and he can make shots when he’s open too.
Jayden Fort Jayden Fort 6'8" | PF Jackson-Reed | 2025 State #128 Nation MD | 6’8” PF | Tenley Tigers
Fort is one of the more intriguing big men in the DMV, and he showed flashes of why college coaches are all over him already with his blend of size, athleticism and skill. He’s a new age big man who is able to run the floor and finish above the rim in transition and he has great touch to be able to step out to 18 feet. He uses his physicality to get to the line often where he converts at a high percentage, and he is an excellent rebounder and rim protector as well.
