Pangos All-West F/S: Top 27/28 Performers (Pt. 3)

<p>LONG BEACH — The Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph camp is the best place to see some of the best underclass talent on the west coast and beyond. The 20th annual installment of the event brought together around 200 prospects form 13 different states and featured two of California's best sophomores. Below we break down some of the top performers from the classes of 2027 and 2028.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Julian Turner, 2027, Shasta</h4>

<p>Turner made the trek down from one of the northern most parts of the state and he made the most of it. The 6-foot point guard stayed true to his position and did a very good job of taking care of the ball, making plays for teammates in transition and half-court offense and showed that he could fill up the scoring column from three-point range.</p>

<p>Parker was one of the few eighth grade prospects to break out as one of the more talented players in this event. The wiry 6-foot-3 shooting guard has an intriguing frame complete with consistent three-point shooting range off the catch. Parker is a prospect that we will track closely as he prepares to enter the high school ranks.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Max Hackney, 2027, Heritage Christian</h4>

<p>Hackney is a versatile 6-foot-5 wing/forward who impressed with his ability to impact multiple facets of the game. Not only did the freshman stretch the floor to the three-point line but he also showed confidence as a straight line driver and finisher in half-court and transition offense.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">TJ Wansa, 2027, Cleveland</h4>

<p>Wansa balanced his talents as a distributor and scorer very well in this event. The 6-foot-2 combo guard used his crafty changes of speed and direction to get into the lane where he knocked down mid-range jumpers, finished craftily around the basket or kicked to an open teammate for three. Wansa was one of the better "feel" guys when it came to using ball screens and creating off of them.</p>
