Section 4AAA Rundown
What do you think the teams in this region noticed first? Totino-Grace moving out? Or DeLaSalle moving in? Columbia Heights, St. Paul Johnson and Minneapolis Edison will all be really good teams but they have to figure out how to stop the Islanders from their 13th straight trip to state. It’s not impossible. The Hylanders took out the Islanders at state in 2018 so it’s been done. The Islanders bring back two starters (Irvin and Morgan), they have two very good young transfers (Miller and Udean), and a player like Justin Johnson Justin Johnson 6'2" | PG DeLaSalle | 2024 State MN coming off an incredible 17u year with the Minnesota Magic . That said, Johnson should have their best team in years which will include the best frontcourt in the section (Thomas and Turner) whereas Heights has a ton of scoring punch in the backcourt. Then you have Edison who I think has a chance to be a top ten team in Class AAA.
