Jax is a player that has yet to really tap into who he is going to be at the next level. He is currently one of the best defenders in the state and he takes a lot of pride in that. He shots the ball well enough from deep to make you cover him and h is one of the best attack and create guys. With a few LM D1’s in his pocket he is going to really move up the charts in a year or two. With a full family move to Orem he brings some more excellent guard play and he is really going to shine in their open up and down system.
Highlights
The lanky big guard has a lot of upside as his size is an important aspect of his game. He has all the moves to get him to the rim and he has some nice mechanics out in the perimeter shooting the ball. He has a slender frame and his is a player that will get things to another level after a year or two in college as he puts on weight. He is hungry to get better, so we are excited to see him over at LCA as they usually have a challenging schedule.
Highlights
Excited to see the biggest difference he will provide a more loaded roster at Corner Canyon. He is going from a big time green light all the time to a player that will spread the floor and this is what we are excited about as he has a chance to expand his game even more. He will be asked to handle the ball against solid defenders and he is likely going to play man to man defense the entire year. College coaches will be seeing a different side of his game this winter and he might just be what a college is looking for.
The strong lead guard is on his way to Brighton as he will now see the floor regardless and he will be relied on to pick up the lead on ball defense and he will need to score. This is a win-win for him moving into Brighton and a win-win for Brighton as they get a hard working guard that is a willing two way player. New role and a new school will be good to see.
Highlights
This kid is coming into the season and he is somewhat unrecognizable as he has been in the gym working and he is a player that could have a breakout season. Although Fremont is guard heavy they will be able to go small and play fast and this is where Jaxon might be able to showcase that next level ability. the ball will be in his court to make some noise this season.
