Carter is an experienced combo guard and proven leader who helped Tualatin to a state championship this past season. At The Battle in Seattle, Lemon showcased his ability to create offense for both himself and his teammates while also knocking down spot-up shots. He embraced competition, never backed down from a challenge, and set the tone as a floor general. Defensively, he’s a high-level on-ball defender who consistently pressures opposing guards. Lemon averaged 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists per game during the tournament.

With the graduation of Jemai Lake, Lemon steps into a bigger offensive role with the Timberwolves and he was able to showcase that at WIBCA. The rising senior combo guard shot the ball well from the perimeter, both off the catch-and-shoot and using his own dribble to create space for himself, and was aggressive with his drives to the basket. He capably found teammates for baskets as well and showed that he’s a tremendous rebounder for his size.

The top guard for the Prospects was Lemon, who played effectively both with the ball in his hands and off the ball. His shot was clicking from the perimeter and he showed good court sense in getting his teammates involved. As usual, plenty of motor and aggressiveness on defense which led to a number of created turnovers with his active hands and feet.
