Grant Ledford Prospect Update (2019)
This weekend 2019 G Grant Ledford ( Tennessee Bobcats ) is camping with The Naval Academy.
“(Grant) Ledford will probably get an offer from Navy,” said Tennessee Bobcats AAU Coach Kevin Feltner. “They really liked him.”
The Tennessee Bobcats had another exceptional year, winning 22 games in 28 tries. Grant was a backcourt fixture.
“Grant is really good,” said Coach Feltner. “He will be my captain of my 2018 Bobcats.”
Teammate Cooper Robb (Scott County) just verbally committed to Charlotte this week. They paired together to give ‘shoe teams’ fits all year. The Tennessee Bobcats won Atlanta Jam with Hoopseen and won Indianapolis with adidas Invitational.

Coach Feltner compares Ledford with several D1 players: Tyreke Key (Indiana State), John Fulkerson (Tennessee), Patrick Good (Appalachian State).
The ultimate level of Ledford remains unclear. He probably will add offers from Ohio Valley Conference schools, possibly Conference USA, or even Missouri Valley Conference schools.
Residing in Tennessee can be precarious for athletes as most schools either recruit midwest or southeast, not both. And the OVC seems like a perfect fit location-wise. A handful of MVC (IL, IN, MO, IA) teams might look at him when the Bobcats hit Indianapolis next summer.
“Next year will be his third year with us,” said Coach Feltner. “He is a D1 player.”
