Bryce was one of the biggest surprises this season as he hit the ground running as a freshman at times was the best scoring freshman in the state. The ability for him to truly play 1-5 at the high school level. Although he was undersized defensively he is able to use his positioning and athleticism to compete and it is tough for bigger players to guard him. That versatility really makes him a tough wing that can handle the ball and also playoff the ball.
Kai continues to grow as he might be an inch or two taller than he is listed. He is agile and he is a a player that will stand in and block shots, contest shots and take charges. Kai will put his body on the line if he needs to to pick up and advantage to get a win. Kai is also a dual sport athlete that will get high level looks on the baseball field and basketball court. Kai has a smooth game around the basket and he is a great pick n’ roll option.
Isaiah is one of the best rising prospects in the state. He is not only starting to figure things out he is a monster PG and he is making it happen on both ends of the ball. Isaiah can use his body and strength to bounce off of defenders. He is a relentless offensive player that will be in attack mode all the time. He is solid at getting his teammates involved and he is getting into that special category when it comes to creating space for himself as well. Look for him to have a monster sophomore season at Highland.
Highlights
Another player that has a high ceiling because he has that stretch 4 ability which is a game changer at the next level. Soren is a shot blocker that continues to mature and develop as his timing is getting better and he is using his length to really cover ground and bother anyone that tries to challenge him off the bounce. Offensively that inside/outside game is starting to really come together. A lot of upside for the young PF.
Highlights
Davis is a speedy downhill PG that can really get the tempo up. He is a pesky defender that can move his feet and often times he can disrupt the offensive flow with that defensive pressure. On the offensive side of the ball he can get by defenders and create. That floater/mid-range is coming along and he is solid from beyond the arc. He will have his shot next year at running things over at Skyridge.
