The 6'6 forward is a unique talent who at times looks like a clear cut D1 prospect. Based on what I saw this weekend there are not 20 players in his class better than him. I'm glad I did. The Sage Ridge star has some game. He's a dedicated downhill driver that showed he can finish. He plays with a good combination of pace, and aggression. He reminds me of former Gaels star, and LSU Tiger M'wani Wilkinson, right now. Richardson just concluded his freshman season. He had a dunk that looked as if he was jumping off a trampoline, and he must have hit the ground half a dozen times in a game his team won by 60. His ability to grab rebounds can only be described as elite, as numerous times he wrestled away 50/50 boards from multiple opponents. They started games, by feeding him the ball in the post, and then used him as a primary ballhandler when teams, began to pressure. The long armed forward gathered several grity rebounds for his team, and won more than his share of 50/50 balls. He had some of the quickest hands I saw, absolutely demoralizing opposing ballhandlers. He's a pick pocket that plays lock down on ball defense. Offensively he controlled the pace, calmly sinking threes whenever he was left open.
